Refund policy

SFE RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Sports & Fitness Exchange, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the nature of our products—large and heavy items that require assembly—please review our return and refund policy carefully. As a liquidator of fitness equipment, we do not accept returns for cosmetic defects. We recommend utilizing the 90-day warranty before initiating a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.
  • You have the original receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit your return request HERE.

  2. Approval: Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions on how to proceed with the return.

  3. Return Shipping:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, unless you paid for free return coverage when placing your order.
  • Please ensure the item is properly packaged to prevent damage during transit. We cannot accept returns for items damaged in return shipping due to improper packaging or from outside influence.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Customized, personalized items and/or special order items.
  • Items that have been used, assembled, installed, or modified.
  • Items not in their original condition or missing parts.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Returns: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7 days.
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received a discount on shipping or an item with free shipping, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 15% of the item’s purchase price will apply to cover handling and restocking expenses.

5. Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer direct exchanges on any product. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the item in the original packaging following the return process outlined above, and place a new order for the desired item. 

6. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you wish to cancel your order, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation Within 48 Hours: Orders can be canceled within 48 hours of purchase provided the order has not yet shipped. A 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund to cover processing costs.

After 48 Hours: Once an order has aged 48 hours, cancellations are no longer possible under any circumstance, whether the order has been fulfilled or not.
